About the role
As a Data Engineer, you'll design and maintain the data infrastructure that powers analytics, reporting, and machine learning across the platform. You'll build robust pipelines that transform raw data into actionable insights for every team in the company.
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows
- Manage and optimize data warehouse architecture
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across systems
- Collaborate with analysts and data scientists on data modeling
- Implement data governance and security best practices
- Monitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot data issues
- Evaluate and integrate new data tools and technologies
Requirements
- 3+ years of data engineering experience
- Proficiency in SQL and Python
- Experience with data warehouse platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift)
- Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools (dbt, Airflow, or Fivetran)
- Understanding of data modeling and schema design
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Nice to have
- Experience with streaming data (Kafka, Kinesis)
- Knowledge of data governance frameworks
- Familiarity with BI tools (Looker, Metabase)
- Experience with Spark or distributed computing
