About the role
As a Prompt Engineer, you'll design, test, and optimize prompts for large language models to power our AI-driven recruitment features. You'll work at the intersection of natural language processing and product development to make our ATS smarter.
Responsibilities
- Design and optimize prompts for candidate matching and screening
- Build evaluation frameworks to measure prompt effectiveness
- Collaborate with product teams to identify AI automation opportunities
- Develop and maintain prompt libraries and templates
- Analyze model outputs and iterate on prompt strategies
- Document best practices for prompt engineering across the team
- Stay current with LLM capabilities and emerging techniques
Requirements
- 2+ years working with large language models (GPT, Claude, etc.)
- Strong understanding of NLP concepts and techniques
- Experience with prompt chaining and multi-step workflows
- Proficiency in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript
- Excellent written communication and analytical skills
- Experience with evaluation metrics and A/B testing
Nice to have
- Experience with AI SDK, LangChain, or similar frameworks
- Background in HR tech or recruitment
- Knowledge of fine-tuning and RAG architectures
- Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol)
