About the role
As CFO, you'll serve as the chief steward of the company's financial health and a strategic partner to the CEO. You'll lead all financial operations, drive capital strategy, and provide the financial leadership needed to scale from growth-stage to market leadership.
Responsibilities
- Set and execute the company's financial strategy and long-term capital plan
- Lead financial operations including accounting, FP&A, and treasury
- Manage relationships with investors, board of directors, and banking partners
- Oversee fundraising activities, financial due diligence, and capital allocation
- Establish financial controls, risk management, and compliance frameworks
- Provide strategic financial guidance to the CEO and executive team
- Build and scale the finance organization to support company growth
- Drive operational efficiency and margin improvement initiatives
Requirements
- 15+ years of progressive finance experience with 5+ years in a CFO or VP Finance role
- Track record of scaling finance operations in high-growth SaaS companies
- Experience with fundraising (Series A through IPO readiness)
- Deep expertise in SaaS metrics, unit economics, and financial modeling
- Strong leadership skills with experience building and managing finance teams
- Excellent communication and board-level presentation skills
- CPA, CFA, or MBA from a top-tier program
Nice to have
- Experience taking a SaaS company through IPO or major exit
- Background in investment banking or private equity
- Experience in HR tech or enterprise software
- International finance and multi-entity experience
