About the role
As a Financial Analyst, you'll provide the financial analysis and insights that drive strategic business decisions. You'll build financial models, analyze performance metrics, and deliver reports that help leadership understand our financial health and growth trajectory.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain financial models for forecasting and scenario analysis
- Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance
- Prepare financial reports and dashboards for leadership and board meetings
- Conduct variance analysis comparing actuals to budget and forecast
- Support the annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting processes
- Analyze unit economics, SaaS metrics, and revenue trends
- Collaborate with department leaders on financial planning and resource allocation
Requirements
- 3+ years of financial analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
- Experience with financial planning tools (Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, or similar)
- Strong understanding of GAAP, SaaS metrics, and financial statements
- Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills for presenting financial insights to non-finance stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
Nice to have
- CFA or CPA designation (or in progress)
- Experience in SaaS or technology companies
- Proficiency with SQL or BI tools for data analysis
- Experience supporting fundraising or M&A processes
