About the role
As a People Operations Manager, you'll build and optimize the systems, processes, and programs that power our employee experience from onboarding to offboarding. You'll ensure our people operations run smoothly and scale as the company grows.
Responsibilities
- Design and manage onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle processes
- Implement and maintain HRIS and people tools infrastructure
- Develop and enforce HR policies, handbooks, and compliance programs
- Manage payroll coordination and benefits administration
- Build people analytics dashboards and reporting for leadership
- Lead process improvement initiatives across HR operations
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations
- Manage and develop the people operations team
Requirements
- 5+ years of HR or people operations experience with 2+ years in a management role
- Experience implementing and managing HRIS platforms
- Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices
- Process-oriented mindset with a track record of building scalable systems
- Proficiency with HR data, analytics, and reporting
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
Nice to have
- Experience scaling people operations in high-growth startups
- SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR certification
- Experience with distributed and remote workforce management
- Knowledge of people analytics and data-driven HR
