About the role
As a Technical Product Manager, you'll own the technical product strategy for our platform infrastructure, APIs, and developer experience. You'll work closely with engineering to make critical architecture decisions and build the technical foundation that powers our product.
Responsibilities
- Define the product strategy for platform APIs, integrations, and developer tools
- Collaborate with engineering on system architecture and technical roadmap decisions
- Write detailed technical specifications and API documentation
- Prioritize technical debt reduction, performance improvements, and scalability initiatives
- Evaluate build-vs-buy decisions for infrastructure components
- Gather requirements from internal engineering teams and external developer partners
- Define and track technical KPIs including uptime, latency, and API adoption
- Manage the developer experience and platform documentation
Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience with a technical focus
- Software engineering background or equivalent technical depth
- Experience with API design, system architecture, and platform products
- Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working with distributed systems and cloud infrastructure
- Proficiency with data analysis and technical metrics
- Excellent written communication and documentation skills
Nice to have
- Previous software engineering experience (2+ years)
- Experience building developer platforms or API products
- Knowledge of AI/ML infrastructure and tooling
- Experience with SOC 2 compliance and security requirements
