About the role
As VP of Sales, you'll lead our entire sales organization, setting strategy and building the team that drives revenue growth. You'll own the sales number, develop go-to-market plans, and build a high-performance sales culture that consistently exceeds targets.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the overall sales strategy and annual revenue plan
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing sales team across SDR, AE, and AM roles
- Establish sales processes, methodologies, and forecasting frameworks
- Set and manage quotas, compensation plans, and territory assignments
- Partner with marketing on demand generation and pipeline strategy
- Report on sales performance, pipeline health, and forecasts to the executive team
- Identify and pursue new market segments and expansion opportunities
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and key customer meetings
Requirements
- 10+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience with 5+ years in sales leadership
- Proven track record of building and scaling sales teams from $5M to $50M+ ARR
- Experience with enterprise and mid-market sales motions
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in sales forecasting and pipeline management
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and team development abilities
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute tactically
- Executive presence and ability to represent the company at the highest levels
Nice to have
- Experience in HR tech, recruitment, or talent management space
- Track record of building sales teams in high-growth startups
- Experience with product-led sales and self-serve motions
- MBA or relevant advanced degree
